Faucets with MotionSense Wave feature a single-sensor touchless activation, allowing users to easily turn water on and off with the wave of a hand. This touchless activation also helps prevent the spread of dirt and germs, as there’s no need to touch the faucet handle to start the water flow – perfect for when hands are too messy or too full to touch the faucet.
The faucets can be controlled in two ways:
- The Wave Sensor, on the left side of the base of the faucet, detects movement, like the wave of a hand, to activate water flow.
- The handle on the opposite side of the faucet offers manual operation, letting users adjust flow and temperature.
Moen’s MotionSense Wave technology offers touchless convenience even when the faucet handle is in the “off” position. As an added benefit, the technology provides water savings by delivering water only when users need it, helping to minimize waste. The touchless activation also reduces smudges and drips on the surface of the faucet, keeping the fixture clean for longer.
Though the design of these faucets may be industrial-inspired, they offer the flexibility required for residential use. Each fixture features a retractable pulldown hose that provides increased reachability, extends effortlessly and docks securely. Additionally, the faucets have a multi-function spray wand that’s easy to maneuver and allows users to adjust the water flow from an aerated stream for everyday kitchen cleanup to a powerful rinse for heavy-duty cleaning to maximize time spent at the sink.
