Moen’s MotionSense Wave technology provides hands-free control and convenient handwashing in the bathroom. Featuring a single sensor on the faucet base for touchless control, users can turn water on and off with just the wave of a hand. This touchless activation also helps prevent the spread of dirt and germs as there’s no need to touch the faucet handle to start the water flow.

Moen’s MotionSense Wave technology is intuitively simple and was designed to improve the experience at the bathroom sink by allowing users to complete tasks with efficiency through a simple hand movement to trigger the flow of water. The faucet can be controlled in two ways:
- The Wave Sensor, on the left side of the faucet base in-line with the handle, turns water on or off with the wave of a hand; for easy, instant motion-activated control.
- The handle on the opposite side of the faucet offers manual operation, letting users adjust flow and temperature.
Faucets with MotionSense Wave offer a touchless convenience even when the faucet handle is in the “off” position. As an added benefit, the technology provides water savings by delivering water only when users need it, helping to minimize waste.
