The default Smart Wireless Soil Sensor moisture level thresholds are based on data from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.
The moisture level thresholds at 1, 3, and 5" (2.54 , 7.62, and 12.7 cm) can be changed when a Smart Wireless Soil Sensor has been added to a zone. To learn how add a Smart Wireless Soil Sensor to your account, visit How do I pair my Smart Wireless Soil Sensor?.
To update your Smart Wireless Soil Sensor within the Moen application, navigate to the Zones tab, tap the Zone the Smart Wireless Soil Sensor has been successfully added to access that zone, and then tap Soil Sensor Thresholds to access the Soil Sensor Thresholds page. Within the Moisture Levels area, you can edit the value from 0 - 100%.
